Join us on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Santa Cruz Harbor for a free, family-friendly community celebration hosted by the City of Santa Cruz.

Event Details:

• WHEN - Tuesday, August 4, 2026, 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• WHAT - National Night Out Community Celebration
• WHERE - Santa Cruz Harbor; 135 5th Avenue, Santa Cruz, CA 95062

Featured Activities:

• Cone with a Cop (5:00 PM to 6:00 PM)
  Free kids’ ice cream scoops (while supplies last) from Crow’s Nest Beach Market.
   
• Donut Eating Contest (starts at 6:15 PM)
  Community members, police officers, and firefighters compete to see who can finish a donut first, no hands allowed.

Parking & Transportation:

• Free event parking from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM in any metered or visitor space. Excluded are slip permit spaces and spaces otherwise marked for special use.
   
• The concession parking lot near Crow’s Nest Restaurant is an automated pay-before-exit lot. Regular parking fees apply.
   
• Take a FUN ride on the FREE inner-harbor water taxi! The water taxi will operate from 4 PM to 9:00 PM (last pickup 8:30 PM). Please click here to view the special event map and all water taxi pick-up and drop-off locations in the harbor.
