Construction to repair the sinkhole and related damage at the Santa Cruz Harbor launch ramp is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. The repair project will address significant infrastructure damage that occurred earlier this year. For public safety, access to the north side of the launch ramp will be restricted throughout construction. Bicycle and pedestrian traffic will be detoured onto Lake Avenue for the duration of construction. Sidewalk access along the project area will remain open to slip renters accessing L through O Docks only.
